After you leave China, you will most likely be back in an environment where little Mandarin is spoken and with few opportunities to use what you learned.
It is very important to keep up your Chinese studies after your LTL course, to make sure that you continue to use your Mandarin, stay motivated to study and continue to improve.
It is very easy to come and study Mandarin intensively and then return to your home country, speak your mother tongue, and lose touch with Chinese.
We want to make sure we give you the best chance that doesn not happen.
There are many ways of doing so, however we do recommend to sign up for a Chinese language course with a local language school in your city as soon as possible after returning from China.
Depending on your schedule, evening, weekend, group or 1-on-1 classes might be suitable, however the most important thing is that you continue to study, revise and improve your Chinese skills.
To make sure maximum progress, LTL recommends to study with a professional language school that offers a structured curriculum, qualified teachers and an environment where you can meet other people studying Mandarin.

Founded in 2005 the association teaches 1-on-1 and group Chinese classes, as well as Tai Qi, Kong Fu and Qigong. All teachers are professional bilingual educators.
Founded in 2011, Chinazentrum fuer Sprache und Kultur offers evening, weekend and day time general Chinese and HSK preparation courses for all levels. Classes are either 1-on-1 or in groups of maximum 10 students and are taught by native speakers with many years of experience in teaching Mandarin. Chinazentrum offers options for students from age 6 to 80.
Freiburg – Konfuzius-Institut Universität Freiburg
Is a not-for-profit Chinese language teaching institution that offers Chinese language courses, HSK exams as well as workshops, cultural exchange and events.

A leading Chinese language school in Zurich and is offering group- and single courses on all levels for adults and children. Group classes have a maximum of 6 students and are held at our classrooms in downtown Zurich. The teachers of Sprachschule Yang are well trained and have a lot of experience in teaching languages.
